There is an incredible reality that you can experience as an “heir” of God. That means all that belongs to the Father in this world and in the world to come has been given to you as His heir. Every concern of lack, hopelessness, sickness, or despair can be swallowed up in this reality. You can access it by placing your faith in Him. When you change your dialogue from “God can you…” to “Dad, can we…,” you will discover His desire is intimacy with you. With the evidence of past failures, the enemy may attempt to dissuade you of this hope, but God has given His Spirit to you to anchor you in His eternal love. Erase self-condemnation by meditating on this truth. You are accepted, favored, and loved by the Father regardless of your failures. Because of the identity, He has placed into you; you belong to Him.
Galatians 4:6-7

“And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, ‘Abba, Father!’ Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”
