What’s the good news?

“Jesus died to forgive you of your sins.” is not the good news. The good news is that Jesus died to transform you into a son or daughter of the living God. A supernatural, spirit-led man or woman in love with Him. The purpose of salvation is not merely the eradication of consequences for sin, but it is truly the transformation of one’s entire mind, soul, and will into the divine nature. (2 Peter 1:4) Justification from sin is only the first step in our change.

Transformation of our nature into His nature, by the work of Holy Spirit, is the full work of salvation. Don’t reduce your relationship with Jesus to simple eternity insurance. It is God’s passion to make you like He is

Full devotion to Jesus cannot be given if we only see Him as an after-life Savior. He must be the one we set our affections on daily; this is how we are changed into His nature. John 10:34, 1 John 4:17, Phil 2:12-13.
